September 23, 2008 Blue Wolves rally to upend Blue Jays Immaculate Conception/Lodi rallied to squeak out a 2-1 decision over Mary Help of Christians on Tuesday in North Haledon. The Blue Wolves won by scopres of 21-25, 25-22 and 25-22. Sophomre Bridget Kennedy was a force at the net, spiking nine kills and clock two shots with senior Geneva Torres contributing five kills, 2 blocks and a dig. Sophomore Michelle Guzman dirtected that attack, distributing 13 assists, serving three winning points and slamming a pair of kills. In the junior varsity competition the Blue Jays won 2-0, posting scores of 25-19 and 25-111 as sophomore Ashley Corres served nine winning points amd chipped in with a dig and kill. Junior Juliana Usuga blasted five kills, scooped up three sigs and dished off three assists while sophomore Karen Perdomo spiled four kills.

Blue Jays defeat Lacordaire 2-0 (Volleyball) Mary Help of Christians defeated Lacordaire Academy 2-0 on Wednesday, September 17, winning by scores of 24-23 and 25-17. Sophomore Bridget Kennedy directed the attack, distributing 14 assists, picking up three digs and blasting a kill. Junior Bridget Kennedy excelled at the net, spiking seven kills and blocking a shot while senior Geneva Torres smashed four kills, blocked a shot and recorded a dig. Junior Michelle Hauer served a pair of aces and was credited with three kills and a dig while her classmate Lizbeth Perdomo had an ace, three kills and a dig. Junior Jackie Marin was credited with an ace and three digs.
